A Taste of Doun Keo City, Takeo

Hello from Doun Keo City, Takeo Cambodia. It’s a beautiful town with an inviting waterfront perfect for a stroll.

Our team arrived here on Thursday afternoon, ahead of our two-day workshop with pastors from Takeo Province on Friday and Saturday.

After checking into the guest house where we are staying, we ventured around the corner to the small restaurant pictured with the owner.

Lunch consisted of fried pork, rice, and a fried egg.

This little shop is located next to the tall building with the rooftop deck. Cambodia is full of contrasts like that.

The contrasts are magnified in the capital of Phnom Penh where you see high rise after high rise going up next door to tiny shops or shack-like homes.
